HDD-55L

The HDD-55L is a 5-inch x 5- inch, high resolution, Active Matrix Liquid Crystal Display (AMLCD) that was designed as a form-fit functional replacement for the 5-inch CRT Head Down Display of th e Dassault Mirage 2000 EG/BG.

The HDD-55L unit provides high resolution displays of imagery generated by the aircraft, including stroke symbology, monochrome and color video as well as video with stroke symbology overlaid. Enhancements include black border of stroke overlay, high brightness and excellent viewability during high ambient daytime lighting conditions.

The HDD-55L is designed and qualified to operate in harsh military aircraft environments.
